Hans & Romeo – Flou Music

From M: Hans and Romeo are basically mid-80s reincarnation of Santo & Johnny Farina’s legacy, hailing from the old country, somewhere in a small finishing town off the coast of Lazio, where time passes slightly slower than the rest of the world. A little bit dreamy, a little bit psychedelic, and full-on endearing. A must-have resident of every digger’s summer playlist. Mare Incantato is arguably the highlight of this LP, but I think almost every track is an undisputed winner. The last cheap-ish copy is up for grabs. After that, it’s double the price. Be wise and think forward.
